50+ Songs for Beginner Jazz Dance Class & Recital (Ages 4-8 Years old)

Here is the playlist I use when teaching jazz (or tap) to beginners ages 4 to 8 years old. Please note that all of these songs use clean language.

This playlist includes a combination of popular songs the kids will know, energetic instrumentals, classic jazz dance hits, and everything in-between. These songs can be used for warming up, combinations, recital dances, and across-the-floor exercises.

Spotify playlist for my beginner jazz/tap classes, ages 4-8 years old. You can save my jazz/tap playlist directly to your Spotify Library!

I’m not a KidzBop teacher – I don’t believe in subjecting myself (or the parents) to only using KidzBop or Disney playlists. I really pride myself in going out of my way to curate playlists uplift the energy of the class and maintain interest.
